Ried HAIDSATZ Pinot Blanc 2021 BIO

36,00

Quality wine; 0,75 litre; contains sulphites

The counterpoint in my white range. The 50-year-old Pinot Blanc vines are also rooted on a limestone base, but underneath you will find a slate plate that gives the wine its own, fruit-driven direction. In addition, its plots continuously open up to blowing winds from the north, giving it not only cool minerality but also a lot of freshness and liveliness. The maceration period provides additional complexity, while the ageing in 500-litre barrels ensures a discreet air supply and a rich and dense texture.

The nose and the palate are full of juicy fruit, a lot of apricot but also some peaches and almonds.

Soil care: organic farming
Expansion: Chilled maceration for 3 days, fermentation in large wooden barrels, ageing in large wooden barrels for 12 months on the full lees and 6 months on the fine lees.
