Ried GOLDBERG Blaufränkisch 2020 BIO

62,00

Quality wine; 0,75 litre; contains sulphites

In the Goldberg, many things are different. The vineyard slopes away from the lake and is not based on limestone, but on slate. Fresh wind circulates through the rows of vines that my father planted in his soil in 1972, the year he took over the winery. It was he who got to the bottom of the qualities of the Goldberg, observed it, analysed it and made decisions that made it one of the great wines of Burgenland.

Blaufränkisch from the Goldberg has always combined delicacy with power. Its tannin structure is compact, the aromas suggest warmth and autumn leaves before opening up to red fruit notes. You taste heart cherries in warm years, sour cherries and a fresh earthiness in cooler ones.
